Finally made it… 40 weeks pregnant! Can’t believe today is actually my due date, no signs of anything yet but hopefully she got the memo that we are all so excited to meet her and she doesn’t keep us waiting too much longer!
This pregnancy FLEW by, that is for sure. Growing this baby was the most magical journey of my entire life. But we are so ready to meet her now!
In the meantime nesting is so real! The amount of excitement keeps me all day on my feet and makes me do so many things, that I believe preggo women don’t or shouldn’t do in their last week.
To be honest, I didn’t really know that nesting is a real thing, but this instinct has me going crazy. I spent hours cleaning, made my boyfriend move furniture around for me, and I still feel like I need to keep reorganizing.
But I really enjoyed decorating her room!! It was my favourite part of the pregnancy so far. Still a few things to be added but I’m literally so obsessed with this little area.
I guess this is the moment when your baby’s room becomes your favourite space in your house.
All of this makes me so excited for her to get here. My heart skips a beat every time I walk past this room and I can’t wait to see it fulfill its purpose.
I guess this will be my last post since the little lady can arrive any day now, so my plan is to just sit in her room now, enjoy the space and imagine what life will be once baby girl is here.
