Chocolate Strawberry Fudge

Chocolate and Strawberry are such a classic flavour combination. Today I have put them together to make a rich and cream healthy fudge. This recipe is so easy to make and is no bake, vegan, gluten free, grain free and contains no refined sugar! I promise you, this is one of those recipes you will want to make over and over again.


The difference between this and a regular fudge is that my fudge is only packed with natural sweetener, like maple syrup, completely dairy-free and vegan, and is boosted with healthy fats like the coconut oil and the almond butter. The coconut oil is one of the main ingredients because it helps keep this chocolate fudge solid but still creamy.


I must add that this isn’t a low-calorie recipe, which shouldn’t disappoint you, because it is made of good-for-you ingredients. I will leave you this warning though: This fudge is really addictive. It takes 5 minutes to make, and 5 minutes to finish a whole batch on your own if you are a choco maniac.


What I love about recipes like this is that you can totally introduce them to your friends and family and they kind of have no idea that what they’re eating is actually healthy.

Being able to make it chocolatey is thanks to the cocoa powder, it’s sweetened with maple syrup. Then you finally have the most important game changer ingredient, the nut butter. Without it the fudge won’t be that creamy and rich when you bite it.  This time I made it with almond butter, and I can say that it perfectly blends with the cocoa. My first try was with peanut butter, which is also very rich and tasty, but it gives a stronger taste which in a way overwhelms the chocolate flavor. A small ingredient change, and we got it just right!


But seriously I’m obsessed with this chocolate almond butter fudge! IT’S SO FUDGING GOOD!!

Chocolate Strawberry Fudgy

  • Servings: 10 pieces
  • Difficulty: easy

  • 1/2 cup of cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup of almond butter
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of softened coconut oil
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries


  1. Mix everything together till it gets a fudgey consistency
  2. Pour in a small baking pan
  3. Top the strawberries evenly on top, pressing them in slightly
  4. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until hardened.
  5. If desired, drizzle with melted dark chocolate
