Taking Hummus To The Next Level! 

Back in the days this healthy source of protein called Hummus, was standing alone in the grocery stores, not being noticed or bought by anybody. Then, after a while, people started finding out about the nutrients it contains. This simple thing actually contains more nutrients than anything else we can find in the store.

FullSizeRender_4It can be your everyday-healthy snack  choice and it goes perfectly together with veggies or some rice cakes. What is even cooler, is that it is ready in just a few minutes. At the same time you don’t need to think about the protein intake, because this delicious paté is already packed with enough protein. Enough and enough.. I can never get enough of the protein and that’s why I decided to take the classic hummus to different level. On a level where proteins are just winning the whole game.

So I decided to add one tablesoon of organic spirulina powder. This superfood packs this uniquely made hummus with even more protein. It helps you feel good after eating it and feeling full even longer. What more could you want?

If you ask me, I wouldn’t want anything else. Just pass me some rice cakes or baby carrots so I can dip them into this green goddess. It’s amazing, isn’t it? Snacking without feeling guilty !

This hummus is easily made with ingredients that you all probably have at home. And ofcourse, don’t forget the blender… Just for the record , you won’t even find this kind of hummus in the store. 1 can of drained organic chickpeas

2 cloves fresh garlic

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon spirulina

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon

1/4 teaspoon high quality sea salt

Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Dip some veggies or rice cakes into it and enjoy this healthy snack !
